Suan Lum Night Bazaar Shopping
Suan Lum Night Bazaar is an eclectic and colourful market less crowded than Chartuchak. Shopping and entertainment all in one, this outdoor market is packed with over 3,000 shops selling sa paper, silk clothing, ceramics, home décor and a number of ‘only-in-Thailand’ products. There are also a few stalls that carry stylish handbags, dresses and precious stone jewellery.
Suan Lum Night Bazaar Overview
The market is divided into zones or sois that is named after Siam’s old capitals (Ayutthaya, Sukhothai and Lop Buri). In zones A, B and C, you’ll find aromatherapy goods like scented candles, scented soaps and essential oils. Head to Raan bai Mai for luxurious scented products.
For funky furniture items, traditional Thai artworks, tapestries and other decorative items, go to Zone D. You can visit Fabiola Design in Lop Buri for hand-made picture frames, while Paper Art and Décor (also in Lop Buri) sells necklaces, vases and paper-made candle-holders.
And to refresh those tired feet, there is a mini-spa with reflexology and Thai massage here. For nightlife, you can visit the beer garden near the entrance, or listen to Thai singers performing at the outdoor stage.
