Bangkok is a fun and exciting travel destination. All that colours and interesting sights will truly remain as a pleasant memory in those little minds. Just follow these Tips for Parents to further minimse your stress and hassle, so that all energy is spent on having pure fun.

Parent Tip 1: Start Your Day Early

Avoid the rush hour by starting your sightseeing as early as possible. Mornings are cooler with less crowds. And when the midday heat sets in, relax in air conditioned area if possible.

Parent Tip 2: Family Friendly Hotels

Stay in a family-friendly hotel that offers children facilities like games room, children's pool, Kids Club, etc. Baby sitting services are also invaluable if the parents want to spend some time alone.

Parent Tip 3: Strollers & Buggies

These are not suitable for the uneven road surfaces in Bangkok, and definitely not recommended if travelling by boat. Bring a baby carrier for younger children.

Parent Tip 4: Cooler Season

Temperatures in April and May can soar up to 40 degrees Celcius, so avoid visiting Bangkok at this time. Weather-wise, the best times to visit is from November to March, when temperatures are comfortable at 29 degress Celcius.

Parent Tip 5: Stray Dogs

Discourage your kids to feed the pitiful-looking 'soi' (street) dogs as these hungry dogs make take a bite at your children's fingers.

Parent Tips 6: Babysitters

Besides hotel baby sitters, you can put your kids at kiDO, a daycare center which offers creative play and learning. There are two locations: Q House (Life Centre) Lumpini in Sathorn and at CentralWorld.

Parent Tip 7: Tagging Your Kids
